Roles and Responsibilities: |
Manage a sales territory based on a specified account territory or geographical definition
Grow existing and develop new business through personal contact with advertisers and advertising agencies and as assigned
Produce customized sales materials, proposals and presentations
Develop new and unique ways to package and sell the “value” versus “price”
Work well in a Team as well as independently

Candidate Criteria: |
Post secondary education mandatory
Education in business, broadcast, public relations, interactive, marketing and/or related fields - Media studies or previous media sales experience
Business professional with strong presentation skills
Thorough understanding of importance of “research” in the Sales process
A complete understanding of and proficiency with the Internet.
Detail oriented - able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with tight deadlines.
A good "time manager" - meeting critical deadlines demanded by the nature of advertising business.
Strong communication and presentation skills with excellent business writing skills.
Expert knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
