The CABR promotes the interests, values and professionalism of
broadcast representatives in national Radio, Television and
Specialty Television Sales. Founded in the 1950's by
the Canadian advertising sales community, the CABR was
created to address the increasingly sophisticated nature of
broadcast advertising. Since its inception, the
emphasis of the CABR has been on promoting the value of
broadcast representatives to the advertising community on
behalf of its members. It is an association that today
insures the continued growth of the broadcast sales industry
through its ability to address advertiser's needs in a
rapidly evolving media landscape. The association
supports and donates to various related charities including
the National Advertising Benevolent Society (NABS), the Ruth
Hancock Foundation, the Paul Mulvihill Heart Fund and
invests in our future through support of several college
scholarships.
